Ab-Soul – 47 Bars (prod. Alchemist)

Ab-Soul is focused on having a strong year after the release of his third studio album These Days …

After appearing on songs from Short Dawg and Bad Lucc, the TDE rapper drops some new solo material for his fans. Produced by The Alchemist, “47 Bars” features no hook in favor of spitting rhymes straight for two minutes and 30 seconds. He doesn’t hold anything back, calling out “niggas wearing dresses,” the Lil Wayne/Birdman situation, and why interviewers shouldn’t ask him about his TDE family. He also shouts out fallen rappers Capital STEEZ and 2Pac while borrowing lines from The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Warning” that cleverly shouts him out too.
