Troy Ave has announced a release date for his next album.

Last night, the 29-year-old rapper gave Funkmaster Flex the green light to premiere his new song, “June 5th,” which also served as an announcement for his sophomore project, Major Without a Deal. “Something that you need to get in tune with/I got the new album dropping June 5th/Major Without a Deal are you ready?/Ya boy in the streets real heavy,” he rapped on a harrowing beat by producer Yankee.

The mastered version of the song combines his latest single, “Real One,” which drops earlier this month. In this song, Troy Ave lists all the reasons why he keeps his ties to the streets.

With the successes of “All About the Money” and “Doo Doo,” Troy Ave plans on really bringing New York back this summer. He has worked with many NY legends in the past, including Prodigy, Ma$e, Raekwon, Lloyd Banks, Fabolous and more. You can make a guess that some of those names will contribute to Major Without a Deal. Maybe even his B$B crew.
