Rick Ross Arrested, Charged with Kidnapping & Assault

Rick Ross was taken into custody Wednesday morning at his home in Georgia by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. He has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. His bodyguard Nadrian James was also arrested.

The arrests stem from an incident that happened about two weeks ago when Ross and/or his bodyguard allegedly pistol whipped a man who was working on the 109 room mansion that used to belong to Evander Holyfield. Following the assault, the man was not immediately allowed to leave the premises, hence the kidnapping charge.

Ross was arrested earlier this month (mugshot above) in the same Georgia county when he was found to be in posession of weed during a traffic stop, a charge so pedestrian in the annals of modern rapper arrests that I didn’t even feel the need to do a post on it at the time. But this? This shit right here is a charge for a BAWSE. In any event, it would appear that this Georgia residence is not working out too well for the MMG founder.

UPDATED: Ross has been denied bond. Billboard has obtained a copy of the warrant issued for Rozay’s arrest, which details how him and James allegedly pistol whipped worker Jonathan Zamudio and forced him to remain in the guest house of the Fayette County estate against his will.
