Since its launch back in March, Tidal streaming service has reached 1 million subscribers. Jay Z tweeted the news yesterday hinting a celebration for October 20.
It was confirmed this morning that a concert for the accomplishment will take place at the Barclays Center with proceeds benefiting the New World Foundation. Artists participation to date include Beyonce, Big Sean, Hit-Boy, Jidenna, Justin Skye, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Prince, Rihanna, The Roots, TIP, Usher and more.
Tickets for Tidal subscribers begin today and the general public this Friday.
