Willie The Kid has been putting in work since the middle of the previous decade, but he’s been noticeably quiet for the past couple of years. That ends this week as he releases his first new project since 2015’s The Fly 3. The new album Deutsche Marks is a collaboration with Harlem producer V Don and having heard a number of the new tracks, I can tell you that The Kid’s flow is well intact and his bars are as fresh as ever. The album weighs in at an even 10-tracks and is as clean and efficient as the German engineering that the artwork and trailer reference, with just three very solid guest appearances from Smoke DZA, Meyhem Lauren and Roc Marciano.
