DJ Premier and Russ reunite on “Work This Out”, the latest single off the legendary producer and DJ’s forthcoming album.
Laid down by Preemo’s smooth production, Russ attempts to work things out with a troubled relationship.
“Some they say you gonna react, bae, I cross the line too often,” sings Russ. “You tell me that I got you fucked up and you start walking / Said ain’t no more talking / That you need your space now / Build your trust in me when I hurt you it just breaks down, yeah.”
The two previously collaborated on 2020’s “Inside Job” and 2022’s “Free” featuring Big K.R.I.T. and Snoop Dogg.
“Work This Out” comes on the heels of Russ’ previous “In The Dirt” and Premier’s “In Moe (Speculation)” with Common and his instrumental LP, Beats That Collected Dust, Vol. 3.
