Produced by No I.D., it’s no longer the anthem to drive-bys that you might have once expected from Vince. Instead, it’s an intricate statement on the relationship between police and black youth – “I guess the pigs spill wigs for the greater good, cuz I ain’t seen them lock up a swine up yet.” Between this and “Blue Suede,” Vince’s album is stacking up to reflect his hard-hitting rhyme schemes – simple but profound. And to think….an artist on Def Jam dropping banging singles about police brutality in 2014.
